once again we had a great day in the lord at the fcc labor day roping and barrel race in karval, co.
bill jetton, director of missions in eastern Colorado for the southern Baptist association, presented an excellent message and reminded us that there is nothing in or on this earth and in this life that will quench our thirst for things. the only thing that will satisfy us is the living water- Jesus Christ- gods perfect son. God sent Jesus to pay for our sin and therefore give us a relationship with god. this relationship never leaves us in want, it satisfies us completely. God created us for a relationship with him so when we except Jesus' payment for our sin we have that personal relationship that will always satisfy us.

Results 2005 Roping
There were 60 team ropers.
1st in the roping went to Brian white with
42.29 on 4 head. Brian chose the palomino horse colt and the handmade
spurs. we wish Brian and his colt the best.
2nd place went to Justin crist with 20.94 on 3 head. Justin received a handmade breast collar.
3rd place went to geral smith with 23.91 on 3 head. he received a handmade clock.
4th place went to Kurt vashus with 28.54 on 3 head. he received a headstall.
Fast times went to Dean Harvey and Justin crist with a time of 6.03

Barrel racing
There were 39 barrel racers at the 2005 fcc roping and barrel race
Missy Allen ran the fastest time of 17.05 and went away with the handmade breast collar.
Tessa James came in 2nd with a time of 17.72 and received handmade spurs.

2nd - Mindi carr with a time of 25.75
The 6-9 division: 1st- missy allen with a time of 17.05
2nd-Mckayla vashus with a time of 18.05
the 10-14 division: 1st- Tessa james with a time of 17.72
2nd- Skye howard with a time of 18.07
The 15- and up division: 1st Skye howard with a time of 17.73
2nd terrie penie with a time of 17.80
